Dovesite Caravan Park is a newly formed family run site situated in the Heart of England in the National Forest. The site is Caravan Club Certificated, landscaped and overlooks Staunton Harold Reservoir. There are a number of pitches available, all with enviable views over Staunton Harold Reservoir. It is a quiet site with beautiful walks in close proximity. There is a lovely walk around the reservoir and the picturesque 'chocolate box' villages of Melbourne and Ticknall are only a stones-throw away. The site is very peaceful and for those early risers amongst you watch the fantastic sunrise over the little village of Breedon-on-the-Hill to the East. Banks, Shops, Supermarket & Cafe's are within a 15 minute walk. We have a bus stop at the entrance to our driveway enabling you to 'hop on' and take advantage of the very reliable public transport network here in Derbyshire. The site has outstanding views and it is surrounded by acres of land for dog walking, rambling or just a leisurely stroll! We currently offer: - Electric Hook-Up Facilities - Drinking Water Supply - Elsan emptying point - Full recycling facilities - Waste disposal for grey water - The site is subtly and tastefully lit throughout the evening The site is open all year round so it is ideal for those brisk fresh morning walks - even in the winter.
