Dovesite is a quiet site with beautiful walks in close proximity. There is a lovely walk around the reservoir and the picturesque ''chocolate box'' villages of Melbourne and Ticknall are only a stones-throw away.

Dovesite is very peaceful and for those early risers amongst you watch the fantastic sunrise over the little village of Breedon-on-the-Hill to the East.

Banks, shops, supermarkets & cafe's are within a 15-minute walk.  We have a bus stop at the entrance to our driveway enabling you to ''hop on'' and take advantage of the very reliable public transport network here in Derbyshire.

Dovesite has outstanding views and it is surrounded by acres of land for dog walking, rambling or just a leisurely stroll!

We currently offer the following facilities:

• Electric Hook-Ups which operate on a card basis (if required) you are able to purchase £1 and/or £5 & £10 electric cards and just pay for electric as a when you need it

• Select number of hard-standing pitches (Dovesite Caravan Park ONLY)

• Drinking Water Supply

• Elsan emptying point - GREEN FLUID ONLY SITE

• Full recycling facilities

• Waste disposal for grey water

• Dovesite is subtly and tastefully lit throughout the evening

 

WE DO NOT OFFER TOILET OR SHOWER FACILITIES.

 

Dovesite is open all year round so it is ideal for those brisk fresh morning walks - even in the winter. Children and dogs are welcome.
